1. Operator and contact
Central Group Inc., with offices in Switzerland and Greece, operates this website. Cookie and privacy questions can be sent to info@centralgroupinc.ch. The Privacy Policy provides the relevant contact addresses and explains personal-data rights.
2. What these technologies do
Cookies are small items stored by a browser for a website. Similar technologies include local or session storage and identifiers used by embedded services. A cookie may last for a browser session or for a defined period, and may be associated with this site or an external provider.
A connection to a font, map tile, video or content-delivery host can also transmit an IP address and other technical request details without setting a cookie. Browser caching and external requests are not all the same as advertising cookies.
3. Essential privacy-choice storage
The first-party cookie cg_privacy_v1 records the policy version, your choice about external media and the time of the choice. It is used to remember and apply that preference across the site. It is not an advertising identifier and does not record the pages you read.
This cookie is set after you save, reject or allow the optional category. It lasts up to 180 days, uses the site’s path, Secure and SameSite=Lax settings, and can be removed through browser controls. Deleting it or using another browser or device means that the choice may need to be made again. Essential preference storage remains active when optional videos are rejected.
4. Optional YouTube video services
Embedded YouTube players are blocked until external videos are allowed. Before that choice, the site displays a local explanatory placeholder and an independent link to open the original video on YouTube. No remote thumbnail is needed for this placeholder.
After permission, the player uses the youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced embed address. This reduces some uses associated with a standard embed; it does not mean that Google receives no data or that playback can never involve storage. Google may process technical details and interaction information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own notices and settings.
Google’s published cookie information describes video-related identifiers such as VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and newer secure variants; the exact names, purpose and expiry depend on the player, browser, sign-in status, region, interaction and Google’s current implementation. These provider-controlled examples are not a claim that every such identifier is installed by this site. Consult Google’s current cookie information for its live inventory.
5. Technical platform and authenticated administration
WordPress and hosting or security infrastructure can use strictly necessary technical storage for a requested function or protection of the service. Authenticated website administrators may encounter WordPress authentication and settings cookies, such as wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* and wp-settings-*; these concern administrative access rather than a public visitor account. Their expiry depends on login and platform settings.
The public website does not require an account to read its corporate pages or press summaries. No site-operated advertising or audience-analytics tags are enabled in the current implementation. If additional optional categories are introduced, the policy and controls must be updated before those technologies are enabled where prior consent is required.
6. Fonts, maps and other external resources
The site uses third-party resources such as Google Fonts, Leaflet-related resources, OpenStreetMap mapping and content-delivery services. Fleet information is attributed to Pelyr. Loading resources can disclose request data to the host. A link to a full map, publisher or associated company opens an independently operated service.
These connections are disclosed here and in the Privacy Policy. They should not be described as advertising cookies merely because they involve an external host, nor should a lack of cookies be treated as a lack of personal-data processing. Optional video consent does not turn every other external service into the same category.
7. Making and changing a choice
The initial notice offers rejection of optional services, permission for external videos and access to preferences. Essential storage cannot be disabled within these controls because it is needed to apply the choice; it can still be deleted using browser settings. External media is optional and is not pre-enabled.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to review, allow or withdraw permission. Saving a withdrawal removes embedded players from the current page and blocks future loading through this site until permission is given again. Previously transmitted information cannot be recalled, and this site cannot directly delete cookies belonging to another provider’s domain.
Opening a separate YouTube link is your navigation to that provider and is governed by its notices. Refusing optional videos does not prevent reading the rest of the website. Your browser or a provider restriction may still prevent playback after permission has been given.
8. Browser controls and consequences
Most browsers allow you to inspect and delete cookies, block particular domains, restrict third-party storage or clear site data. Settings differ by browser and device. Blocking essential storage may prevent your preference from being remembered, so the notice may appear again.
Private browsing does not guarantee that no data is transmitted to servers. Website preferences do not automatically apply to other websites, devices or browsers, and do not replace the settings offered by Google or another external service.
9. Applicable rules and updates
Consent requirements are assessed under applicable electronic-communications rules, the GDPR where relevant, and Swiss data-protection and telecommunications rules where applicable. Required information and a genuine choice must precede optional storage where the law requires prior consent. Continued browsing or silence is not treated by this website as permission for optional videos.
The policy describes the current implementation, including the preference mechanism introduced on 16 October 2026. Provider technologies and website functions can change; material changes require corresponding updates to this notice and, where required, a renewed choice. Contact info@centralgroupinc.ch about a particular item or concern.
