1. Controller and privacy contact
Central Group Inc., with offices in Switzerland and Greece, is the controller for the website processing described here. Send privacy enquiries and rights requests to info@centralgroupinc.ch. You may also write to Via Arona 3, 7500 St. Moritz, Switzerland, or 20 Iouliou Kaisara, Paiania 19002, Athens, Greece, marking the correspondence “Privacy”.
An associated company, Foundation or external provider may be a separate controller for its own activities. Its notice applies when you use its website or engage it directly. The appropriate controller for a transaction is identified by the actual service and contractual relationship.
2. Scope and applicable frameworks
This notice concerns website visitors, people who contact us, business contacts and individuals identified in published corporate or editorial material. The EU General Data Protection Regulation and relevant Greek rules apply where their scope is met; the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies where relevant. Rights and legal grounds depend on the applicable framework and circumstances.
The current public website provides corporate information, office contacts, press summaries, maps and embedded media. It is not a public registration, payment, online investment, donation, museum-ticketing or booking platform. A separate service, recruitment process or transaction may require additional privacy information.
3. Data collected through visits
Technical website requests may disclose an IP address, access date and time, requested address, referrer information, browser and device details, response or error information and security-related events to the web server and infrastructure providers. Browser settings and the requested resource affect the information transmitted.
The website stores the privacy preference described in the Cookie Policy. Optional video providers receive data only when their players are enabled, subject to the limits explained below. Third-party resources such as fonts, map tiles and delivery infrastructure can also receive technical request data when your browser connects to them.
4. Enquiries and information you provide
If you contact us, we may handle your name, email or other contact details, organisation, role, message, attachments and the information needed to respond. The current public contact page does not require submission through an online enquiry form. Choosing email or another published channel is voluntary.
Do not include special-category data, identity documents, financial credentials or confidential third-party material unless specifically requested through a suitable process. If you provide another person’s information, you must have a legitimate reason and respect any applicable duty to inform them.
5. Professional and editorial information
Corporate profiles and the Press Room can identify directors, executives, other professional contacts and people mentioned in relevant public reporting. Sources may include information supplied for corporate publication and the original publications linked from the page. Personal information can include names, professional roles, biographical statements and images.
Publication is assessed in the context of corporate communication, public professional information, legitimate interests and applicable expression or information protections. Contact us to raise an accuracy, privacy or image-rights concern; the request will be considered with any applicable rights of others and legal obligations.
6. Purposes and legal grounds
Website operation, reliability, information security and misuse prevention serve the legitimate interests of maintaining a secure corporate website. Handling ordinary business correspondence and professional contact information also serves legitimate interests in communication and managing relationships, subject to the required balancing of rights.
Where an enquiry involves steps requested before a contract, or administration of a contract with an individual, processing may be necessary for those purposes. Legal duties may require particular records or disclosures. Where consent is the applicable basis, including optional external-media storage where required, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Under Swiss law, the applicable processing principles and any required justification also govern the activity. The legal basis must fit the actual purpose; merely browsing the site does not amount to consent to all processing.
7. How information is used
Information is used to deliver pages and requested features, answer and route enquiries, manage appropriate business contact, administer privacy choices, diagnose problems, prevent misuse, comply with legal duties and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
An enquiry may be passed to the relevant associated company only where appropriate to its subject and with due regard to applicable information and data-sharing requirements. This notice does not authorise unrestricted circulation of personal data across every entity described on the website.
8. Recipients and external connections
Access may be given to authorised personnel and service providers involved in hosting, maintenance, IT support, security, communications and professional advice, to the extent needed for their role. Competent authorities or other parties may receive information where legally required or necessary for a lawful claim.
The site uses third-party resources including Google Fonts, YouTube, mapping resources associated with Leaflet and OpenStreetMap, and content-delivery infrastructure. Fleet information is attributed to Pelyr. A browser request to an external host can disclose technical data even when the resource does not set a cookie.
When you enable a YouTube player, Google processes data under its own applicable notices and service settings. Opening a publisher, company, map or social-media link takes you to a separate service. We do not control the subsequent processing carried out independently by that service.
9. International processing
Website infrastructure and external services can involve processing in Switzerland, the European Economic Area and other countries, including the United States. The location depends on the provider and service. Different countries may offer different legal protection and routes of redress.
Where a transfer subject to data-protection restrictions is made by us, it must have an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as a relevant adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, including recognised contractual clauses where appropriate. Statutory exceptions are available only on their applicable conditions. Contact us for information about a particular recipient, destination or safeguard rather than assuming every provider has the same arrangement.
10. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is handled. Relevant criteria include whether an enquiry remains open, the duration of a business relationship, applicable record-keeping duties, the need to investigate an incident, limitation periods and the establishment or defence of claims. Data should then be deleted or anonymised unless another lawful reason requires retention.
Technical logs are retained according to the relevant security, operational and provider requirements rather than an unlimited general archive. The website privacy-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days unless renewed or deleted. External providers control the retention of information they process independently; consult their notices for details.
11. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request information or access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or the provision or transfer of data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including an assessment of your particular circumstances, and to direct marketing if it occurs. You may withdraw consent where consent is relied on.
Rights are not absolute: legal duties, legitimate overriding grounds, the rights of others and statutory exceptions may affect the response. We may request proportionate information to verify identity. We normally respond within one month under the GDPR or 30 days under Swiss access rules; any permitted extension, restriction or fee is handled under the applicable law, with the required explanation.
Send requests to info@centralgroupinc.ch and identify the relevant activity. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority, including the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, without first having to exhaust an informal enquiry to us.
12. Security and sensitive communications
Technical and organisational safeguards should reflect the nature and risks of processing, including access control, secure administration and appropriate protection of communications and systems. No internet transmission or system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Use a suitable agreed channel for confidential or sensitive material. Do not email passwords or payment credentials. If a personal-data breach occurs, notification and remedial steps are assessed under the applicable legal requirements.
13. Children, automated decisions and marketing
This corporate website is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed at children. Do not submit children’s information without an appropriate lawful basis and any required parental authority.
The website is not used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. No site-operated advertising or audience-analytics tags are enabled as part of the current website implementation. This statement does not describe every independent activity of an external provider after you choose to use it.
14. Changes and further information
We update this notice when relevant processing or requirements change. The date above identifies the version. A materially different purpose, new data-collection feature or additional service may require an updated or supplementary notice before that processing starts.
Use the Cookie Policy and Cookie settings for online preferences. Contact info@centralgroupinc.ch for questions, corrections or information about a specific processing activity.
